This week we are featuring an Upcoming Artist you'll be seeing everywhere during the next year:
- MR. VELU -
Hardcore electro fiend Mr. Velu started getting into the scene eight months ago; inspired by artist like The Bloody Beetroots, Justice, Nathan Vice and others; this emerging producer has taken on Drum and Bass and Dubstep influences and fused them with this strong point: 8bit and Glitch. Under the alias of Mr. Velu, he's played at some of the hottest clubs on the island and has had his music played in local programing, together with other up and coming artist he's been honing his skills and getting his live act together and as of now he is competing in various international remixing competitions.
Lately Velu has been delighting crowds in spots such as The Vatican & Red Shield and trust me the response is fucking amazing.

THIS WEEK'S ARTISTS ARE:
-E ROD- Egy Rodriguez at just 14 years old started to dj and pursue his musical interest. These included recording, mixing, and producing his very own beats, so while most teenagers were fixed on driving a car for the first time, Egy Rodriguez was on a path to fulfilling a career that most musicians would never come to recognize in this lifetime. Like all hard work that pays off, by the age of 23, Egy Rodriguez was successful at conquering his first Latin Grammy as a recording engineer for the multi platinum selling album "Los 40 AƱos del Gran Combo". He has also been nominated several times for the American Grammy’s for recording some latin music albums. Not only is he creating fresh beats behind the scenes, he is also performing his music live in some clubs in Puerto Rico, like Kali where he’s been the resident Dj for the last 4 years. You may also have spotted him playing alongside Roni Size, John B, Designer Drugs, Hatiras, Friction, Hornet (Pendulum), Eddie Dee, Daddy Yankee, Tego Calderon, Don Omar, Vico C, and Wisin y Yandel. Other live sets include the Billboard Club Miami, Palazzo in Toronto, BB King Club NY, and House of Blues in Orlando. It is suffice to say that Egy Rodriguez is most comfortable when he is behind his Serato Scratch Live and Akai MPC 2000XL performing for a crowd that no genre can define. He is currently working on solo projects that consist of 12 electro and fidget house tracks. All of which have been recorded , produced and composed by Egy Rodriguez himself.

-FAT PHET- On the other hand we've got the one and only Fat Phet, a talented Producer/DJ with a very tasty selection of electro sounds. This guy was originally established on the south of PR, where the electro scene has had a great response and a very special crowd following closely the few DJS that execute their favorite tracks on a fresh and proper way. He is now headquartered at Rio Piedras, the place to be inspired and even influenced on the making of electro tunes.
With a few unreleased remixes of known artists such as, Rich Boy, M.I.A & Kavinsky, Fat Phet has captured the attention of the crowd following this electronic music sub-genre and has even gained several fans and followers.
This up and coming artist lets his dj sets flow with tropical sounds, glitchy synths and impeccable melodies swimming in deep bass lines.
-IAN BAZEHEAD- Ian Bazehead has been one of the most respected Dubstep/Drum & Bass acts of this year, with a very serious dedication on selecting his music tracks and letting them drop like a true professional.

This week we got a very devoted and talented Drum and Bass DJ:
Old school bass head, supporter of the growing Beat Bangers society and underground emerging Dj. This growing artist is a product of P.R's Drum and Bass lovers scene. Influenced by his music composition study background and by the Jungle/Drum and Bass/Electro scene that grew in the late 90's, he helped develop the infamous Jungle City Rec. project. His infusion of Drum and Bass Jump-Up, Wobble and Neurofunk served with Dubstep and Electro on the side creates a digital story different from any other, forming an atmosphere that attracts and unites music lovers from diverse electronic- music tastes, while transitioning boundaries between genres without loosing the DnB edge. "Different flavors for different Ravers." Prepare for the rolling sounds of this Underground Professional at work.
